The symptoms of Covid-19 are nonspecific, and the disease presentation can range from asymptomatic (asymptomatic) to severe pneumonia and death. The WHO has summarized on the basis of 55.924 laboratory-confirmed cases the typical signs and symptoms: fever (87,9%), dry cough (67,7%), fatigue (38,1%), sputum (33,4%), shortness of breath (18,6%), neck pain (13,9%), headache (13,6%), muscle or joint pain (up 14.8%), chills (up 11.4%), Nausea or vomiting (5.0%), nasal congestion (up 4.8%), diarrhoea (3.7%) and coughing up blood (of 0.9%).
Coronavirus
The Coronavirus provides for empty stadiums and cancelled concerts: whining stops!
The incubation period, i.e. the period of time from infection to the onset of the disease, is estimated to be an average of five to six days. The wingspan can be up to 14 days.
These are the symptoms of a flu
Typical of an Influenza infection, a flu, in addition to a dry cough, and sudden onset, often high fever, strong feeling of illness and headache, muscle and joint pain. From the symptoms here are similar to the flu disease, thus, infections with the new Coronavirus.
These are the symptoms of a cold
Significantly colds are distinguished. Typical symptoms such as neck pain, runny nose, slimy (and not a dry cough like Covid-19 and the flu), slightly elevated temperature, and mild to moderate headaches. These generally extend over several days and not come abruptly, such as in the case of the flu. Also in the case of a common cold, you will feel sick, but not completely exhausted like the flu.
